CREDIT VISUAL SKIP FUNCTION
It is possible to play disc directly from "chapter 1" avoiding having to view the "credit visual" (i.e.: name and logo of the movie studio).

PROGRAMMABLE PLAYBACK
For the ultimate in demonstration efficiency, the DVD-K500 can be programmed to play up to 30 chapters of only the most desirable scenes from the 5 loaded discs.

EASY, ONE-TOUCH OPERATION
Function buttons are over-sized and easy-to-use. At the touch of the button, playback immediately begins. Furthermore, the chapter now in play is indicated on a distinctive LCD readout display.

AUDIO OUTPUT FLEXIBILITY
Two headphone outputs are provided to allow simultaneous listening by two customers. Also provided are two channels of RCA-type line outputs for connection to an external power amplifier. A coaxial digital output connector facilitates DVD-K500Õs use with the Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM formats. Note: A surround decoder and amplifier are required to achieve 5.1 channel reproduction.

VERSATILE VIDEO CAPABILITIES
In addition to a composite video output connecter, the DVD-K500 is equipped with S-video and component video (Y/CR/CB) outputs that deliver the highest quality picture image.

SPACE-EFFICIENT DESIGN FOR EASY INSTALLATION
The DVD-K500 includes a specially designed desktop stand. It can also be wall-mounted by using the supplied brackets. Combined with a thin LCD or plasma video display, the DVD-K500 makes the most efficient use of your valuable display space.

SAFETY LOCK FUNCTION
Discs can be secured within the DVD-K500Õs transport mechanism to prevent tampering or theft. A special "mechanical key" is unlocked before pressing the "eject/stop" button, preventing the removal of discs by unauthorized individuals.

AUDIO POWER-OFF
The unitsÕ power is turned off after remaining idle for 5 minutes, protecting the mechanism from unnecessary wear while conserving energy. This mode may be disengaged to allow for continuous operation.

PLAY COUNTER MEMORY
A counter keeps track of the number of times a disc has been played, giving you valuable insight into customer preferences.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL
A full-function remote control provides operation of the DVD-K500 from a distance.
