A versatile 4/3/2 channel (50 W x 4, four ohms) bridgeable design that offers a wide range of installation flexibility afforded by its12dB/octave high and low pass variable frequency crossover, 42Hz bass boost circuit and an input level control accommodating input levels from 150mV to 4 volts. True line outputs, with their own selector switch, allow for the individual designation of the high and low pass filters as well as a flat setting.

Building on the Nakamichi tradition of sonic excellence, innovative engineering and commitment to advancing the state of automotive audio fidelity, the PA-4001, PA-1004 and PA-1002 Mobile Power Amplifiers set new standards of performance and features at a most affordable price. The result of a collaborative effort between the R&D teams at Nakamichi America and Nakamichi Corporation Japan, this new entry-level series represents an international effort that truly brings together Nakamichi global experience, expertise and manufacturing know-how. By utilizing a fully-complementary high-speed amplifier topology coupled to high-current MOSFET devices with a fully-regulated PWM power supply, an enormous reserve of dynamic power is available on demand to accurately reproduce the most demanding of musical selections. All mobile power amplifiers in this series address age-old installation concerns. The ultra-low profile chassis, location of input/output terminals and a stunning cosmetic design makes for simple hookup and concealment of cables for that customized installation look. Built-in versatility is also an integral part of this new series. All three power amplifiers provide considerable flexibility accommodating a wide range of system configurations. And, they are designed to allow for future system expansion through the thoughtful use of stereo/mono mode bridging, bass boost control and variable frequency crossover capabilities.

An optional bass level control is available for remote operation of the amplifiers bass output.
